E-Glass fiber packing with graphite is diagonally braided from high-quality textured glass fibre, impregnated yarn by yarn with pure graphite powder and a corrosion inhibitor. The graphiting process reduces fretting of the glass fibres, this prevents the glass fibres from abrading and damaging each other under pressure. AP2511 is a dense, yet resilient, packing for static applications. It is a predominantly a valve packing, but can also be recommended for man holes, tank lids and other static applications. The application media include Water, oils, alkaline solutions, weak acids, chemical products etc. The very strong and durable packing is for static use at high temperatures and pressures.
