It is a medium hard packing which is lubricated and graphited thronghout. This packing has extremely low frictional characteristics where minimum shaft wear is essential. Having rot resistant, it is ideal for maring use, handling cold water, brine and cold oils. In general, as dynamic sealing, AP2502 is suitalble to be used in rotating and reciprocating pumps, lower pressure valves and so on.
